How we work - One senior developer. Fixed price. Fast.

- Day 1 — Listen. One call to understand the workflow, the constraints, and what success looks like. We'll tell you on that call if AI is the wrong answer.
- Day 7 — Prototype. Working prototype in your hands within the first week, not a wireframe. You see real output before we ask for the second invoice.

FAQ - Questions we hear before the first call

- Do we own the code and the IP?. Yes — fully. Code lives in your repo, infra in your cloud account, data in your database. No lock-in, no SaaS rebill on top.
- Where does our data live?. Australia by default — Sydney region on Vercel and AWS. Happy to deploy to other regions if compliance requires it.
- Which AI models do you use?. Claude Sonnet for most production work, Opus for harder reasoning, Haiku for high-volume cheap tasks. We pick by cost-per-task, not brand loyalty.
- Can you work with our existing team?. Yes. Plenty of engagements are pairing with an in-house engineer to level up their AI architecture, not replacing them.
- Do you sign NDAs and DPAs?. Yes — standard mutual NDA and a data processing agreement on request. AU jurisdiction unless your contract requires otherwise.
- What if AI isn't the right answer?. We'll say so. About half of our free audits end with us recommending no AI engagement at all — usually because a simpler workflow change does the same job for nothing.
